321ACTION: November 26, 2024

Congress has recessed for the Thanksgiving holiday. They still have two must-do items left on their agenda before the end of the year - funding the federal government and passing the National Defense Authorization Act. Congress is expected to once again temporarily extend current funding into early next year, and pair this “continuing resolution” with a disaster aid package to help communities respond from hurricanes and other natural disasters. Meanwhile, lawmakers with outstanding legislative priorities that are still waiting for Congressional action will try to attach them to these moving vehicles or other must-pass legislation that comes up in the next several weeks. The Senate will also continue confirming judges.
