Catherine Zacks Gildenhorn (Sondra D. Bender Community Leadership Honoree) is an international board member of the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning; board member of the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes and National Women’s Philanthropy; trustee of the Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation of Greater Washington; recent executive committee and board member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. She was editor of the book Redefining Moments: End of Life Stories for Better Living.
