3. On Wednesday, JWI will join thousands of pro-choice advocates to rally in front of the Supreme Court for a woman’s right to choose.
In a nutshell: A “TRAP law” limiting abortion access in Louisiana is being challenged in the Supreme Court. If the conservative majority allows the law to take effect it would decimate abortion access, forcing all but one clinic in the state to close.

2. Last week, pro-choice members of the U.S. Senate stopped anti-abortion legislation from moving forward – a huge victory for women across the country.
In a nutshell: These two harmful bills would have restricted abortion access, putting the lives and well-being of women in danger.
Take Action: Click here to see how your senators voted on the bills. If your senator voted against them, send an email thanking them for supporting a woman’s right to determine her own future.
1. In the past decade hundreds of state legislatures have passed new laws that greatly restrict a woman’s right to self-determination, and this year is no different.
In a nutshell: Time is running out to oppose harmful state laws now that state legislative sessions are ending.
Take Action: Now is the time to call your state senator and state representative/delegate to make sure they oppose any legislation that restricts women’s access to reproductive healthcare!
