321ACTION: Roe Anniversary, Gun Violence Survivors Week & Human Trafficking
Ready to make a difference?
Here are three ways to get started:
1. Liberate abortion
As we commemorated what would have been the 50th anniversary of Roe yesterday, we honored its legacy and importance while also acknowledging that it was never enough.
Politicians worked for decades to make access to abortion as difficult as possible, but we will continue to fight for abortion liberation policies that free abortion from unnecessary legal restrictions, fund clinics, make abortion available and affordable, and lets all people know that they are trusted to make their own pregnancy decisions.
Register for Hadassah’s program this evening at 7pm ET, “The State of Choice: Taking Action in a Post-Roe America” and continue to uplift abortion access messaging on social media.

2. Honor survivors of gun violence
Over the weekend, our country witnessed yet another senseless gun violence tragedy. This time, it was a horrific mass shooting at a ballroom dance studio in Monterey Park, California in the midst of the city's Lunar New Year celebrations. 11 people were killed and 9 were injured by a gunman with an assault-style weapon. Our hearts break for the victims, the community, and all of the survivors of this tragedy.
Survivors of this mass shooting include those directly injured, those at the ballroom dance dance studio during the incident, and the family, friends, and community of those who were killed. Next week (Feb. 1-7) marks the 5th annual National Gun Violence Survivors Week – a week when people from all walks of life come together to share and amplify the stories and voices of survivors who live with the impact of gun violence each and every day. If you are a survivor, use the digital storytelling site, Moments that Survive, to submit your personal story in your own words.

3. Help bring an end to human trafficking
At any given time, it is estimated that 27.6 million people are experiencing human trafficking around the world.
During National Human Trafficking Prevention Month we must reaffirm our commitment to protect and empower survivors and bring an end to human trafficking.
