Address Gun Violence in Houses of Worship

The mass shooting at the Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods, CA last week is a stark reminder of the gun violence that happens all too frequently at houses of worship.

This Thursday, May 26th at 1 PM ET, join JWI and Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence (FUPGV) for, "Guns in Houses of Worship," a conversation about how congregations can work to keep their community safe from gun violence. Urge the Senate to expeditiously confirm Steve Dettelbach as Director of the ATF.

Guarantee Access to Birth Control

Access to contraception is crucial to exercising reproductive choice, especially with the right to abortion under imminent threat. However, in at least 24 states there have been cases of pharmacists refusing to fill birth control prescriptions.

The Access to Birth Control Bill would mandate that pharmacists provide contraception without delay. Ask your House representative to pass this act now to support women’s right to choose.
