2. Strong gun laws decrease gun-involved domestic violence!

Intimate partner violence, including domestic violence incidents committed with firearms, increased substantially during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, a recent study found that states with strong gun laws did not see a marked increase in firearm-involved domestic violence, while states with weak gun laws saw an increase in firearm-involved domestic violence incidents, injuries, and fatalities.
