We are looking for passionate, driven women in their 20s and 30s to join their local YWIN Board.

YWIN boards are primarily programmatic, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to design and lead meaningful programs in your local community, which build confidence, foster connection, and help women thrive. As a board member, you will also serve as a community ambassador, helping to cultivate a warm and inclusive environment where Jewish women can show up authentically, learn, and grow together.

As a YWIN board member, you will:

  • Gain leadership experience that will help you grow personally and professionally. 

  • Build deep, meaningful connections with other passionate Jewish women.

  • Create and shape impactful programs that inspire, empower, and bring people together.

  • Foster lifelong friendships by building a welcoming and supportive community.

  • Experience the fulfillment of providing your community with amazing opportunities for connection, learning, and growth.

Our team will review applications on a rolling basis and follow up individually with each applicant. You will be notified of your acceptance by 5/15.

About JWI Young Women’s Impact Networks

JWI’s Young Women’s Impact Network (YWIN) builds strong communities for Jewish women in their 20s and 30s, offering social events, professional development, financial literacy programs, and philanthropic initiatives.

Jewish Women International’s networks thrive under the leadership of local community members. Our volunteer-led boards foster connection and empower women.

JWI's Mission

Jewish Women International (JWI) is the leading Jewish organization championing women and girls by fighting gender-based violence, preventing domestic violence and sexual abuse, addressing the intersection of domestic violence and gun violence, building pathways to long-term economic security, and strengthening access to every level of leadership in our communities, workplaces, and country.

YWIN Board Expectations

Board members serve for a one-year term (July–June) and play an active role in shaping their local network.

As a board member, you will:

  • Grow the network by inviting others to events and expanding our community.

  • Co-lead two events per year (you’ll have a co-chair for support!).

  • Engage with fellow board members to brainstorm, plan, and collaborate.

  • Attend at least 75% of board meetings (held monthly).

  • Attend at least 75% of monthly YWIN events in your community to foster meaningful connections.

  • Promote a culture of kindness, belonging, and inclusivity for all women.

  • Support JWI’s mission philanthropically with a personally meaningful donation (suggested: $180 annually).
