3. Conservatives have spent decades seeking to regulate abortion to the point of inaccessibility and strip women of reproductive freedom.
In a nutshell: Today, the Supreme Court struck down Louisiana's unconstitutional clinic shutdown sham. The fight for abortion access does not end here, though: We need federal law to safeguard reproductive rights. Read JWI's full statement on the ruling here.
Take action: Urge your representative and senators to support the Women's Health Protection Act and support your local abortion fund to ensure financial barriers do not prevent women from accessing essential care!
2. In humanitarian emergencies, women and girls face an increased risk of rape, child marriage, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

Take action: This bipartisan bill was just introduced in the Senate (S.4003). Email your Senators today and ask that they cosponsor the Safe from the Start Act!

Take action: Tell your members of Congress to co-sponsor the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA)!
