3. Build-it-yourself firearms — known as “ghost guns” — are completely unregulated and nearly impossible to trace. Ghost guns may be the scariest and fastest-growing gun threat in the country.
In a nutshell: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has proposed a regulatory rule that would effectively end the spread of ghost guns, reversing a previous decision that created a dangerous gap in the regulation of firearms.
Take action: Use Everytown for Gun Safety’s action page to submit a comment to the federal register supporting ATF’s proposed rule – the deadline is August 19th.
2. COVID-19 has proven it is critical to invest in women and our country's human infrastructure.
In a nutshell: Today, the details of the Senate budget resolution were released, including important investments in child care, education, and paid family leave!
Take action: Email your senators using our two-click system and tell them to support the inclusion of these important priorities in the reconciliation package.

In a nutshell: Paid family and medical leave is a critical policy to help American families build our economy back.
Take action: If you are in Colorado Springs, Las Vegas, or Phoenix join the Paid Leave for All Coalition bus tour to call on lawmakers to pass a national paid leave policy. For those elsewhere in the country, help lift up the message on social media.
