1. Last week President-elect Biden introduced the bold and aggressive COVID relief plan that our country desperately needs to get us on a path to recovery.
In a nutshell: The American Rescue Plan includes emergency paid sick and family leave, funding for state and local governments, extended and expanded unemployment benefits, funding for domestic violence and sexual assault programs, an increased minimum wage, $1,400 in direct payments to many adults, and other important provisions that will help move our country forward.
