3. All women, in the U.S. and abroad, deserve access to the resources necessary to control their own bodies, families, and futures.
In a nutshell: For the first time in over 40 years, the House of Representatives has the opportunity to pass a budget that doesn’t include the Hyde or Helms Amendments – policies that have denied funding for abortion coverage domestically and internationally.
Take action: Email your representative and tell them to support a budget without those harmful amendments!
2. COVID-19 has shown us the necessity of an investment in women and our country’s human infrastructure.
In a nutshell: It is imperative, as a bipartisan group of senators move forward on a narrow infrastructure bill, that the Senate also pass a bill that includes priorities like expanded health care access, funding for child care, and paid leave programs.
Take action: Use our easy two-step messaging system to tell your senators they must pass a recovery package that includes funding to modernize our care infrastructure.
1. The appointment of Justice Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court was a travesty of justice.
In a nutshell: The FBI’s handling of accusations of misconduct was a farce. None of the information they collected was ever investigated.
Take action: Tell your senators that the Senate Judiciary Committee should hold a hearing to look into the FBI’s non-investigation.
