JWI YWIN Chi is kicking off our event calendar this year with a voter education and registration event in partnership with She Votes IL! We’re thrilled to be back with in person programming and will be mingling with the JWI network over drinks and learning how to be empowered with information at the voting booth.
This event will be held on Wednesday, 10/19 at Begyle Brewing in Ravenswood from 6-8PM.
More about She Votes IL: She Votes works to make sure all women can vote in every state and local election. They work to ensure that elected officials and candidates for office understand the issues most important to Illinois women, and help elected officials create and enforce policies that uplift us all.
In keeping with JWI’s commitment to serving the greater good, COVID-19 vaccines will be required. This program is built for all young Jewish adults who experience the world as female.
Photos and/or videos may be recorded at this event. Your attendance at this event grants your permission to be in these photos and/or videos, which may be used for promotional, archival, or educational purposes. If you do not want your photograph shared, please inform the event host.
FAQs:
What’s JWI? Jewish Women International (JWI) is the leading Jewish organization working to empower women and girls – of every race, culture, ability, gender identity, and sexual orientation – by ensuring and protecting their safety, building access to long-term economic security, and lifting and mentoring women leaders.
What’s the Young Women’s Impact Network? The network connects and supports local Jewish women and non-binary people in their 20s and 30s with empowering programs and leadership development.
What kind of programming does JWI put on? Our programs connect young Jewish women and non-binary people together and provide them with opportunities to grow together, thrive independently, and create a lasting impact on the world around them. Many of our programs focus on financial empowerment, healthy relationships, personal and professional development, and more!
