YWIN NYC: Shabbat Across the City

  • Located in private homes across NYC New York, NY United States (map)

For more than 20 years, JWI has sent bouquets of flowers, financial literacy resources, and children’s craft kits to domestic violence shelters across the U.S. on Mother’s Day through the Mother’s Day Project (formerly known as the Flower Project).

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, join one of the special Shabbat across New York City dinners hosted by the NYC Young Women’s Impact Network (YWIN) to help support this year’s Mother’s Day Project.

JWI YWIN board members will be opening up their homes for simultaneous Shabbat dinners in Bushwick, the Upper West Side, Washington Heights, and the Upper East Side. The dinners vary in accordance to ADA accessibility, Kosher requirements, and religious observance. Additionally, some of the dinners are open only to female-identifying individuals, while others will have young Jews of other gender identities present. We encourage you to sign up for the Shabbat dinner that is most meaningful and consistent with your Shabbat practice, where you feel most comfortable.

The registration links below will take you to a third-party website hosted by the organization One Table. Participation in each dinner costs $36, which covers the cost of dinner and a Paper Card that we’ll give you at the dinner.
