JWI: Leading the Charge Against Gender-Based Violence

Jewish Women International (JWI) is at the forefront of ending gender-based violence and advocating for a world where women and girls thrive. We:

  • Advocate for legislation that protects abuse survivors.

  • Provide healthy relationship training directly to students.

  • Train and support advocates working with survivors.

Through prevention programming, engaging men and boys as allies, and providing survivors with economic security tools, safe havens, and peer forums, JWI drives systemic change. We lead national coalitions, submit amicus briefs to the Supreme Court, and pursue gun violence prevention initiatives through our Jewish Gun Violence Prevention Roundtable. Every initiative we lead is rooted in our commitment to create a survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and violence-free future.

Whether addressing sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, reproductive injustice, or gun violence, JWI’s work is paving the way for a safer, more equitable world.
