YWIN National Book Club: Author Talk with Raz Tal Schenirer

  • Zoom United States (map)

We’re thrilled to invite you to YWIN’s National Book Club for an inspiring conversation with Raz Tal Schenirer, author of Where Love Lies. This is more than a book discussion—it’s a chance to connect with our national community and celebrate the incredible voices of Jewish authors shaping the literary world.

Even if you don’t have time to read the book, we encourage you to join us! Raz’s story alone is enough to inspire. She’ll share insights from her career, from her military intelligence service to competing in a beauty pageant on an international stage, and she’ll offer her wisdom on navigating relationships and life’s unexpected twists.

Raz brings a unique perspective to her writing, having transformed her journey from an Israeli military intelligence veteran and Miss Israel beauty pageant contestant into a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment. Her debut novel, Where Love Lies, explores themes of love, identity, and personal growth, delving into how relationships shape women and their sense of self.

This conversation promises to be insightful and empowering, and Raz will be taking questions from the group—so come ready to chat!

About the Book:
Where Love Lies follows Ella Davidson, whose world is upended when she moves from her all-American life to mandatory military service in Israel. She meets Liam Levine, a magnetic officer with a dangerous secret. As their love affair unfolds, Ella must confront the complexities of control and self-discovery in a high-stakes environment.

We look forward to coming together to learn from Raz and engage in a thoughtful discussion on love, relationships, and empowerment. Don’t miss out!
