Join JWI's New York Young Women's Impact Network for one of our most meaningful traditions, Shabbat Dinner with Emma’s Torch. Emma’s Torch is so much more than just a restaurant - it’s a home to a social enterprise that empowers refugees through culinary education and job readiness training. Join us for a special evening as we hear how this organization continues Emma Lazerus' vision as you get to connect with other like-minded Jewish women from across NYC.
The cost of the event is $60 for 1 person and $110 for 2 people and includes a three-course meal served family style and a glass of wine. The meal will NOT be strictly Kosher, but there will be a vegetarian/fish option available.
Emma's Torch is in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
- One block from the F and G trains.
- 15 minutes from the D and N/R/W trains.
