Webinar Overview
Join us for our December National Alliance webinar to learn how reproductive coercion impacts survivors and discover the critical steps we can take to support them in the post-Roe landscape. In 2023, the National Domestic Violence Hotline conducted a survey to better understand the experiences of survivors facing reproductive coercion and abuse. This webinar will explore the findings from the survey, highlighting how abusers use control over reproductive choices—such as forcing sex, pressuring partners into pregnancy, and sabotaging birth control—to maintain power. We’ll also examine how the reversal of Roe v. Wade has intensified these challenges, limiting access to reproductive healthcare and increasing legal risks for survivors. Professionals and advocates will gain valuable strategies for supporting survivors in this new landscape, ensuring they have the protection and resources they need. Join us to hear from experts at the National Domestic Violence Hotline as we discuss actionable steps to address reproductive coercion, advocate for stronger protections, and improve support for survivors of intimate partner violence.
