Talya Bock's mission is to empower women and their extended families to take control of their personal finances so that they can afford their dreams. She helps clients map and maintain an investment approach to meet their personal priorities, such as preparing to start a family, buying a home, income in retirement, philanthropy and legacy planning. Previously Talya worked in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets.
Talya holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and an M.A. in education. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) with bachelor's degrees in economic history and Talmud (Jewish Law). She is an active community volunteer and serves as a trustee of the Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation and on the boards of Mechon Hadar and AVODAH.
