On Tuesday, June 7, JWI’s Chicago Young Women’s Impact Network - in partnership with the Chicago YWCA - will bring together people who identify as women and/or non-binary for an interactive crash course on identifying and de-escalating uncomfortable situations, so we can empower ourselves and one another.

You’ll receive tools and skills designed to build confidence at bars, parties, the office - wherever someone might encounter unwanted sexual advances. Through this safe and interactive setting, you’ll have the opportunity to practice these skills so you can speak up for your needs or the needs of others, say no, and understand that being a victim of sexual assault is never your fault.

Cost: $10 (includes dinner)
