Here for You: A Community Leader Conversation on Addressing Domestic Abuse
Hosted by Jewish Women International in partnership with JEWISHcolorado, Jewish Family Service of Denver, the Staenberg-Loup JCC, and The Rocky Mountain Rabbis and Cantors
March 20th, 2025 // Denver, CO // 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Jewish Women International’s groundbreaking “Domestic Violence in the Jewish Community: A Needs Assessment” found that Jewish domestic violence survivors felt disbelieved, shunned by, and disconnected from their Jewish communities.
Community leaders have the power to be strong sources of support for families impacted by domestic violence, helping them find healing and strength. Join JWI, JEWISHcolorado, Jewish Family Service of Denver, the Staenberg-Loup JCC, and The Rocky Mountain Rabbis and Cantors to discuss the unique experiences of Jewish domestic abuse survivors, learn about best practices for supporting survivors, and explore the critical role of community leaders in creating survivor-centered environments that promote healing and long-term resilience.
As a community leader, survivors may look to you and your organization for guidance and support. Your participation in this conversation is invaluable, and we invite you to join us in shaping a supportive environment for survivors and their children.
This event is exclusively for leaders of Jewish organizations and will include a workshop followed by a discussion where we’ll collaboratively develop a concrete action plan.
*This is an in-person event with limited seating. Please register below to confirm your attendance and secure your spot. Address will be shared with registration confirmation.
