One in three American teens will be the victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner. Most will not tell anyone about the abuse. Teens need to talk. You can make a difference.
During February, designated Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, JWI is pleased to offer all Liberty Property tenants a free workshop to help adults recognize the signs of dating abuse and start conversations with the teens in their lives. Dating Abuse: Tools for Taking to Teens explains the dynamics of teen dating abuse and provides usable strategies for all adults – parents, coaches, teachers, relatives and neighbors – to have realistic and successful conversations with young people.
Coffee and snacks will be served. Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.
Email Dana Fleitman if you have any questions about this workshop, and please encourage your co-workers to join you!
