Confronting Domestic Violence within the Philadelphia Jewish Community — A Community Conversation with Jewish Leaders

Hosted by Jewish Women International in partnership with Dinah, Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia, Hebrew Free Loan Society of Greater Philadelphia, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia

January 28th, 2025 // 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. ET // Bala Cynwyd, PA

Jewish Women International’s groundbreaking “Domestic Violence in the Jewish Community: A Needs Assessment” found that Jewish domestic violence survivors felt disbelieved, shunned by, and disconnected from their Jewish communities.

Community leaders have the power to be strong sources of support for families impacted by domestic violence, helping them find healing and strength. As a community leader, survivors may look to you and your organization for guidance and support. Your participation in this conversation is invaluable, and we hope you can join us to help shape a supportive environment for survivors and their children.

This event is exclusively for Jewish leadership and will include presentations from JWI and JFCS, followed by an open dialogue where we’ll collaboratively develop a concrete action plan.

*This is an in-person event with limited seating. Please register below to confirm your attendance and secure your spot. Address will be shared with registration confirmation.

Kosher food will be provided.
