Laura E. Adkins

Laura E. Adkins is an award-winning journalist and the Senior Director of Strategic Communications at Jewish Women International (JWI), where she champions initiatives to combat gender-based violence and advance women’s leadership. Her influential writing on Israel, global Jewish life, and gender issues has appeared in leading outlets like The Washington Post, The New York Times, and NPR.

Laura leads JWI’s “I Believe Israeli Women” initiative, advocating for accountability in addressing conflict-related sexual violence at the UN and beyond. With a passion for fostering understanding within Israel and the Jewish diaspora, she also serves as a mentor-editor for the OpEd Project. She sits on the New York Atid board of the Israel Policy Forum.
