Webinar Overview
Partners 4 Safe Families was developed with the goal of shifting the paradigm and the way the child welfare system viewed survivors of domestic violence. Our goal was to determine why families were coming back into care. Assess the level of danger in which the survivors were in. Create a new process that addresses DV safely and decreases victim blaming or ignoring the DV all together. In addition, supporting and making sure that the victims were not being re-victimized by the system. The presentation is geared towards providing an overview of how we implemented the program, what we found, and the outcomes.
