Title IX: How the Campus Process Differs from the Criminal Process
Those whose work focuses on domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking often interact with both the criminal system and campus disciplinary systems. To best support individuals involved in these matters, it is critical to understand how these two systems intersect, differ, and impact each other. This webinar will provide a brief explanation of the federal law, Title IX, which governs institutional responses to allegations of campus-related domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, and the webinar will explore the intersections between campus Title IX systems and the criminal process.
