Everyone deserves a safe and healthy relationship, including America’s next Bachelor, Peter Weber! On January 6th, Pilot Pete is taking flight on his journey to find love. Here are five qualities we hope he finds in his next partner:

1. Honesty

While Jed Wyatt received the final rose from Hannah Brown in the last season of The Bachelorette, his lies and deception ultimately lead to their relationship's demise. Jed’s mistakes show us the importance of honesty and openness in sustaining a relationship. Pilot Pete deserves a partner who truthfully shares about their emotions, past relationships,and intentions. We’re hoping for contestants who are willing to be vulnerable and seeking love for all the right reasons 🤞

2. Support

Life is full of unexpected hurdles and challenges. In Peter’s case that included splitting his face open and getting 22 stitches right before filming. Especially after such a scary accident, he needs a co-pilot in life who will show him care, encouragement, love, understanding and reassurance. We hope Peter gives his final rose to someone who builds him up and supports his passions, interests, choices, community and aspirations 🌹

3. Fun

Did fun for Pilot Pete stop in the windmill with Hannah Beast? We hope not! Building a relationship shouldn’t be all work and no play. A partner can bring joy, laughter, pleasure, and excitement to a connection. We hope Peter will be able to navigate the inevitable drama, as this is reality TV, and find moments of happiness, fun, positivity, and consensual connection 💋

4. Trust

#CoupleGoals = building mutual trust. Trust is the foundation of all healthy relationships. While it grows with time, it’s about having confidence in your partner through believing and seeing that their words, actions, and decisions match. We hope as the weeks pass and his connections soar, Peter remembers to trust himself in making decisions and builds trust with the contestants 👫

5. Open Communication

Are you on the same page? Open communication helps to ensure that you’re aware of your partners needs, feelings, and expectations. Last season on The Bachelorette, we saw how Luke P. made the final four, but his assumptions about Hannah B’s stance on sex and relationships lead to their connection imploding. We hope Peter and the contestants learn from Luke’s mistake and are open, upfront, and honest with each other 👩‍❤️‍👨
