Jewish organizations are looking for new top leadership as baby boomer CEOs retire, and the latest reports show that 45% of new CEO hires in the Jewish community are women. This is an exciting development - but a deep-seated patriarchal ideology is slow to change. JWI’s Jewish Communal Leadership Project explores the issues still faced by women in leadership, and prepares these leaders to face challenges and drive change in the Jewish community.

This year, JCWLP is taking shape in two ways. First is our fellowship, made up of 10 high-level women leaders of Jewish communal organizations, who are meeting monthly to tackle real-world issues as a cohort. Second is our series of masterclasses, monthly meetings open to all led by highly-accomplished professional Jewish women in business, finance, media, and development. Many of these leaders have been honored by JWI as Women to Watch.

This is not your typical Jewish leadership workshop: In addition to career-building topics, discussions also focus on policies and procedures to create safe and equitable workplaces, and how to mentor the next generation of women leaders.

Option 1: JCWLP Fellowship

This fellowship provides a hand selected group of executive level leaders of Jewish communal organizations the opportunity to participate in interactive, career building workshops while bonding as a supportive peer group.

If you're hoping to take your career to the next level, feel more connected to the local Jewish community, and meet inspiring female mentors – look no further than JCWLP Masterclasses!

As a part of JWI's Jewish Communal Women's Leadership Project (JCWLP), we are thrilled to offer you 6 different opportunities to participate in professional development workshops led by Jewish women experts across business, finance, media, tech, and development. These workshops are designed for mid to senior level Jewish communal professional women. Workshops will be held from May through December 2022, and you can sign up for as many as you like.
