321ACTION: Standing with Israel, uptick in reproductive coercion, and gun lobby marketing to children

Hamas brutalized and massacred Israeli civilians, including gender-specific violence, humiliation, and defilement of bodies both living and deceased. It’s not too late to sign this letter, written by women, and join with the Israel Women's Network, the Deborah Institute for Gender and Sustainability Studies, the Forum Dvora, The International Women's Forum, and the Rackman Center Faculty of Law at Bar Ilan University to demand the condemnation of Hamas and the release of the hostages.

2. Read about the impact of Dobbs on victims of domestic violence

Reproductive coercion is an often-overlooked means by which domestic abusers establish and exert power and coercive control. After the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which found that the Constitution does not protect the right to an abortion, calls to the National Domestic Violence Hotline involving reproduction coercion doubled. 3. The gun industry is marketing weapons of war to children!

A recent report by Sandy Hook Promise illustrates how the gun industry is actively marketing semi-automatic firearms to children and adolescents, with troubling and misogynist “R-rated psychological messaging about sex, power, and masculinity.” Young people are uniquely susceptible to certain types of marketing employed by the gun industry.
