For your own safety, when you search for information or communicate about partner abuse, do not use any computer to which your abuser has access. Your internet, e-mail and documents leave traces on your computer that can be found by your abuser. It is often safer to use a computer at work or in a library or internet cafe, or a friend’s or family member’s computer.
