Making Healthy Choices

Making a choice can be really hard, and knowing what is the best choice doesn't always make it easier.

Here are some things to think about as you are making a decision:

  • Is this the best choice for me?
  • Will this decision make me happy?
  • What are the pros and cons for each choice?
  • Am I going to be happy with my decision a couple of months from now?

 

Tips:

  • Write it down--make a list of pros and cons to help clarify your choices.
  • Sleep on it--a decision deserves time and thought.
  • Talk it out--ask a friend or trusted adult to help you think things through.
