Every summer, JWI hosts workshops to discuss current issues and help build a generation of informed and empowered women.

Highlights from 2012

Participants at the June 27th session learn about Being a Young Professional Woman in D.C from presenters Danielle Rodman, Senior Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) & Arielle Linsky, Senior Account Manager at OMP, a marketing and fundraising consulting firm that works with nonprofits and political groups.
At the July 11th session, Miri Cypers, JWI Senior Policy and Advocacy Specialist & Rachel Wainer, Assistant Dean of Students, the Catholic University of America (shown speaking), teach college students how to advocate for better sexual assault policies on campus.
Deborah Rosenbloom, JWI Director of Programs, records answers to the question “what do you think about when you think about money?” at the July 18th session on Economic Empowerment and Women: From the Personal to the Political.
