Ready to make a difference?

Here are three ways to get started:

1. Fertility clinics in Alabama are suspending in vitro fertilization!

In the aftermath of the Alabama Supreme Court’s ruling that embryos are people, fertility clinics across the state have stopped offering in vitro fertilization, often the last hope for women struggling with infertility. Read more here.

2. Tell Congress to prevent a government shutdown and to reject harmful policy provisions!

Congress has only until the end of the week to pass the first of two bills to fund the federal government. If Congress does not pass this bill or an extension of existing funding, the government will partly shutdown. People will be unable to access food aid and housing supports. Click here to send an email to your members of Congress, urging them to fund the federal government and to reject ‘poison pill policy riders’ attacking abortion rights and vulnerable communities. To learn more about the appropriations process, register to join our colleagues for an educational webinar on February 29 at 10:30 ET.

3. Learn more about barriers that victim advocates face in discussing abortion with pregnant victims!

State laws prohibiting abortions have put advocates for domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors in an impossible position: do they reinforce victim autonomy by offering abortion as an option and risk legal consequences, or do they protect themselves and keep silent?
